It's not a horrible letter, and the person is polite enough and certainly not hateworthy, but at the same time, I can't help noticing that the writer is a serious polyanna. Generally, in life, if you want to improve things and make progress, you have to recognize that problems exist and be willing to speak up about them and think of alternate courses of action. To say or imply that problems should be swept under the carpet in the name of positivism seems kind of stupid and possibly even disingenuous to me. It also bugs me that the letter is all GOD this and GOD that. Not everyone believes. Why not let religion be a personal thing, each to their own? No one has ever proven anything to me by quoting what they believe their deity of choice to say.
If no one had ever been dissatisfied with anything, we would still be running around naked and illiterate, living in caves and trees!
