What are you thankful for?

Hi everybody!

There were so many comments yesterday (really good ones I might add) that it is now almost 1.30 am and I need to be at work soon, so I will just place this post here. If you would like to start a new conversation about things you are thankful for this Thanksgiving that would be most excellent.

Also, if any of you see something that you would like to write an article about, please let me know. I think this blog needs to have multiple authors! Unfortunately, this is a side project for me, and I am too cheap to invest in a blog that allows multiple authors! However, if someone writes an article and sends it to me, I would be delighted to post it, and would of course give you full credit for it!

Thanks, have a great day, and if I don't catch you on Thursday, Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. As the owner of this blog, and as the one who posted this post, I get to go first!

I am thankful for my amazing, wonderful, beautiful, loving wife.

I am thankful that she has discovered the Mary Kay opportunity and that she has found great joy in it.

I am thankful for the internet through which all of us complete and perfect strangers can meet and exchange ideas.

I am thankful that I live in Southern California and was able to wear a short sleeved shirt today.

Now it really is 1.30 and I am going to bed. Good night or good morning.

  2. I am thankful first and foremost for my Lord.

I am thankful for My husband who is spending another thanksgiving in Iraq however will be home for Christmas this year and for my two beautiful twin daughters.

I am thankful for the opportunity to share MK with people.

I am thankful that the Lord allowed me another day.

Like David I am thankful that I live in South Texas and I am wearing shorts to work today.

I am thankful for my hair salon and for all the ladies and men that come in and chose to get their hair done at my salon.

I am thankful for my mom and dad and my brothers and sisters.

I am thankful that I live in the United States and that we still as of today still have freedoms.

I am thankful for everything that the Lord has done in my life be it good or not so good.

My goodness I am thankful for everything.

Have a Bless Day in the Lord
    Pink Bren

  3. I am thankful for the forgiviness of sins most of all. Praises and thanks go to the most high GOD, who sent his SON to the world to die for our sins and reconcile us to HIM!

    Thanks again Lord!

I am thankful for the health and presence of my family and friends.

I am thankful to be alive and well. I am thankful that I have a home to go to and a job to go to.

I am thankful for having another chance everyday to be a better Christian, wife, mommy and friend.

I am thankful that I live in a country where I have choices. Things may not be perfect, but for the most part I can make it what I want it to be.

Have a Great Holiday you guys!

  4. I’m thankful for this wonderful career. I am also thankful for the Go-Give spirit I can pass onto the women I meet. I love being a Mary Kay Independent Consultant! This job is absolutely the best thing that could happen to someone! It is a proven opportunity for people to have their own successful business. Anybody with dreams and an interest in making people happy will be successful at this business. I am so happy and thankful I am doing what I am doing! I wish all of you a happy holiday.

  5. After reading this email and taking a little reflection time, I was humbled by realizing how much I truly have to be grateful for.

I am going to list just a few because I realized my list could go on for a very long time.

I am thankful for my church, my husband and kids, extended family, and friends.

I am thankful at my age, I am pretty heathly and time has been good to me.

I am grateful to live in a country were we can walk or streets and feed our families.

I was grateful to provide a meal yesterday for family and friends and that everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship. I am grateful that God made me, who I am.

P.S. (lol) I am grateful I got a big laugh when I read on pt, that above all they are grateful for TC.PT. I guess the new mantra now isn't Faith 1st, Family 2nd, Career 3rd. It is Pt,1st, TC, 2nd, MK 3rd. (Because, even ot of MK, they spend as much time still talking about MK as they did when they were a part of it) Family??
