Summer Open House
Wow, Day 1 of my unit's summer open house is done, I finished right around $1400 in sales, not too bad, really for having a delightful day with great people. Finished the open house from 7 - 8:30 with a pampering Footsie Tootsie party and a parafin wax hand dip - we had a blast. Tomorrow starts at 9:00 with muffins and makeovers and the 10- 4 open house. I just love getting to catch up with my clients, they are just so awesome! As for the first feedback on the summer products....
8 Tropical Pineapple Sets and several others that intend on getting it! and... I was really more surprised at the number of people that couldn't wait to try the new tinted lip balms. I only have one each of three of the colors left and only a couple of tropical pineapple sets, I want to wait until tomorrow night but I need to order!! Did I mention I had a blast?
The first pic is just the registration table with the slips for the door prize drawings and then the prizes for the lucky numbers ( every invite has a number on it, if their number is on the board and they bring their invite to the open house and there number matches one of the lucky numbers, they win the prize that has that number! (this helps people to safe guard their invitations and not just toss them aside) - plus it is fun watching everone whne they come in an check there number. Table with the tree is the Summer fun Table, last - one of my decorations - surprise, it is a Hawaiian tropical theme. (sorry me in my grass skirt will not be posted). (now ask yourself, did she or didn't she?) hehe -- Had more assorted tables but this is just a sampling.
One of the best things about Mary Kay, is that I love what I do. I have an awesome unit, delightful clients, and a great product. I must admit, the old saying, "if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life" is so true.
